Mid-Week Meanders recommence with the trial of a new format.

Meet at the usual Tue morning coffee location at Weston Park Mini Railway, Yarralumla for a 10:30 departure. Arrive a bit early if you want a coffee first.

The February Meander will be a scenic run through Bungendore, then a visit to Old Saint Lukes Studio prior to lunch at The Baker at Sutton.

I surveyed the route today (1 Feb). The roads along the route are generally in very good condition. HOWEVER, there are a few potholes in some sections, so please keep a look out.

In particular, please be aware of the following:

- there are roadworks on Hoskinstown Road with speed limits and traffic lights.

- please exercise caution turning right onto the Federal Highway at the northern end of Bungendore Road

- there are a couple of sections of bad potholes at the southern end of Shingle Hill Way

- turn left into Old St Lukes Studio from Shingle Hill Way just after crossing Yass River, watch for road works in this area
