Following the success of last year’s event, our Annual Presentation event will again be a Luncheon held at the Commonwealth Club of Canberra on Saturday 30 August.  The luncheon format allows members to bring their MGs out for a run in daylight hours and put on a show at the front of the Club.  Our guest speaker will be Warren Brown AM, who will talk about his epic 24,000 km journey to recreate Francis Birtles’ famous 1927 drive from London to Melbourne in a classic Bean roadster.  Warren is an accomplished author, cartoonist, and television presenter and is sure to entertain and amaze us with tales of his adventures.  Full details are provided on the Events page.

The Battle is over, the French have been routed again (87 cars to 31) and the day has been declared one of the best ever.  Congratulations to Kerry McDonald and Chris Wells for organising such a well-run event.  The Club's Concours, Pride of Ownership and general Display was also a hit with the public and participants alike - thanks to Laurie and Ewan for setting that up.  Photos can be found here
