What a great day out for car lovers. Hundreds of vintage and classic cars, including a working Stanley Steamer. Great fun! Our annual MG display day and concours/pride of ownership was held at the same time.

Fifty club members gathered to enjoy Christmas nibbles and MG camaraderie at the Gungahlin Lakes Country Club on 14 December.

MGs gathered in large numbers under blue skies to celebrate the MG Centenary and the Britishness of MG at Terribly British Day in Queanbeyan on Sunday 3 December. We counted 25 MGs and at least 55 members on the day capped off by Malcolm Robertson's T Special being selected by the public for the Gentlemen's Choice award - a great honour for the Club. Thanks to all who came and to the Triumph Club for their hard work organising the day.

The Marque of Friendship barbecue. We hosted a touring group from the Geelong MG Car Club to an evening of quality steaks and salads on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin ably prepared by the Vietnam Vets under head chef Steve Rowley.

Run to the Former Orroral Valley Tracking Station site in the Namadgi National Park.

A glorious day, almost Spring, no wind, sunny, blue skies and a fabulous crowd on the hill to watch all the action as the new management cuts its teeth, finds its feet and picks up the baton to run our motorkhanas into the future. A great range of cars, talented drivers and a good number of juniors. The future is secure...

It was fast and furious at the motorkhana on Sunday 4 June. Cloudy but dry and a first for some of the guys who will be taking on the running of these events in the future as we transition across to new arrangements. A huge vote of thanks to Chris and Kent for master-minding the day, and to all the helpers and Virginia's guides for officiating and keeping us fed and watered.

What a great day! The MG Car Club won the "best display" trophy at Wheels this year for its one hundred years of MG display ably co-ordinated by Laurie Gardiner. Over 30 MGs were in attendance including some new arrivals such as Tim Brown's TC Special. Here are some photos...

Club members gathered early for brunch at Weston Park to celebrate Australia Day in style. The turn out was magnificent and everyone, young and old, had a great time enjoying and sharing life experiences and brunch-style gourmet cakes and pastries until the heat of an Australian summer's day drove them home...

Another great day under the shady trees in Queanbeyan for TBD. This year, we celebrated 60 years of the MGB and what a fabulous collection of MGBs our Club had on display, including the one considered to be the best presented on the day - a red MGB Mk1 owned by Robert Leticq.
